About the Author: John Boyne is an Irish novelist who wrote 'The Thief of Time' 'The Congress of Rough Riders' 'Crippen' 'The House of Special Purpose' 'Mutiny On The Bounty' 'Next of Kin' 'Noah Barleywater Runs Away' and this. Among these, 'The Boy In The Striped Pajamas' was the best of best which was translated into twenty six different languages.
Blurb of the main idea of the book: The background of this book is during the World War II. The main character, Bruno, is 9 year-old German and his father is a general of Nazis. One day, Bruno's family moves to a place called Out-With and Bruno starts going for an adventure which is what he most likely to do when he is bored. Near his house, there is a highly built fence and on the other side of the fence, he meets a Polish boy whose name is Shmuel. It was their daily task to see each other everyday, however they were not found from anywhere after they went to the adventure together.
